Cherry Bar Cookies

1 cup butter soften
2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp almond extract
3 cups flour all purpose
2 cans cherry pie filling
Glaze 1 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract
3 tbsp milk
Cream together butter sugar and salt until fluffy. Add eggs mix well. Add vanilla almond extract. Spread 3 cups of batter in a greased baking pan. Spread pie filling on top. Drop remainder of batter by spoon on top of pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool completely and drizzle with glaze.
Mix all ingredients together drizzle over cooled cookies
