Corn Dogs
½ cup flour
¾ Tsp. baking powder
1/3 cup cornmeal
1 Tbsp. sugar
½ Tsp. salt
½ cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
4 to 6 hot dogs
4 to 6 wooden sticks
Sift together flour, baking powder, cornmeal, sugar and salt. Stir together milk,
egg and oil. Beat in dry ingredients. Skewer each hot dog on wooden sticks. Dip
in batter and fry in hot oil using sticks or tongs. Drain onto paper towels.
