German Skillet Dinner~ absolutely
wonderful
3 tbl butter or margarine
1/2 cabbage , chopped
2/3 c uncooked rice (I use minute rice)
1 med onion, chopped
2 lbs hamburger
1 can diced tomatoes or rotel tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
Melt butter in skillet, layer cabbage, uncooked rice, onion, raw crumbled
hamburger, salt and pepper, then tomatoes. Cover with lid and simmer 25-35
minutes until rice, cabbage and burger are done. Do not stir or lift lid until
done.
