And of course our second favorite thing to do here in Maryland, aside from picking and eating steamed crabs.... is to peel and eat steamed shrimp! Who doesn't like steamed shrimp? I could peel and eat these for hours! Am I making you hungry yet?

Old Bay Steamed Shrimp

1/2 cup cider vinegar or a bottle of beer
2-3 cups water
2 tablespoons OLD BAYŽ Seasoning (or more)
2-3 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined, leaving tails on
1 cup OLD BAYŽ Cocktail Sauce

In a large pot, mix vinegar, water and OLD BAY. Bring to boil on medium heat. Place shrimp in a steamer basket and over liquids, then cover. Steam 2 to 3 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until hungry guests arrive. Best served with punchy cocktail sauce and lively conversation.
