Depending
on the number of people you will have to decide on the number of Potatoes you
will need.
Scrub
the potatoes (I usually use Gold Potatoes) and dice. (Leaving the skins on the
potatoes)
1-2
onions chopped.
Put
them together in your slow cooker and add enough water to cover by about 2
inches. Cook on high until the potatoes and onions are almost completely
cooked.
Add, Garlic Salt,
Dried Basil, and 2-3 cans of Chicken Broth.
Add,
3-4 Cups of Grated Cheese - - I use 1/2 Cheddar 1/2 Pepperjack.
Turn
on Low, and cook for about 2 hours -- slightly mash the potatoes and onions and
add 2 Cups of Milk- - continue cooking on low until you are ready to bring out
the bowls and spoons.....Enjoy!
