Wow!! The past few years have been extremely busy and this website kinda got ignored.  Today, June 17, 2019, I have a little bit of time and decided to add some additional recipes.  If I counted correctly, 75 were added today and who knows how long I have had them downloaded!!  Maybe more time can be devoted to provide a more timely update.

Eleven and a half years ago when I had the priviledge to retire from the active workforce and become an active retiree, my wife and I agreed to share cooking duties so neither of us was bogged down in the daily task of feeding ourselves.  In case anyone wonders, we tried several schedules but settled on one that works very well.  Jan cooks Mon-Wed, I take Thurs-Sat, and then we each cook every other Sunday.  And..whoever cooks, cleans the kitchen. (I prefer grilling and paper plates.)  This has actually added some variety and the sense we each have "a few days off" each week.

Friends on Facebook have been posting recipes frequently which has certainly given me new ideas so Jan doesn't have to eat grilled hamburgers every week.  I would like to express my appreciation to all of you and let you know that several of the posted recipes have passed the "wife" test.

As a way of expressing that appreciation and helping myself keep track of all these great recipes, I generated this website to share with all of you.  I hope you find it useful, but also hope you realize this is not intended to be an elaborate webpage with lots of bells and whistles.  I plan to keep it as simple as I can (since that is all I know) but encourage any feedback, corrections, etc that you might have.

The menu at left will bring up lists of recipes.  Each recipe is "clickable" to view the recipe as it was posted on Facebook.  Opening an Adobe file via the link on the recipe page provides an easy method to download or print.
